KD Singh Babu Stadium mein abhi jaldi hi renovate hua swimming pool 1st April se operational ho jayega 12 years se above ke swimmers ke liye.

Regional Sport officer Ajay Kumar Sethi ne kaha ki ye existing pool jo ki renovate hua hai ise Beginner’s pool ke naam se bhi jaana jaata hai ye koi naya pool nhi banaya gaya hai. Ye pool 1988 mein bana tha kyu ki ye purana ho chukka tha toh isliye ise renovate kiya gaya hai bass.

“Government ne is pool ke renovation ke liye nearly 2 crore spent kiya hai. Ye pool 12m long aur 11m wide hai. Yaha par three trainers aur enough staff honge jo ki children ko training denge 200 rs monthly ke charges ke sath,” unhone kaha.

Is pool ke restoration ka work Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam Limited (UPRNN) ko diya gaya tha last year. Ye work October mei hi pura ho jaana tha par Archaelogical Survey of India ki taraf se No Objection Certificate(NOC) milne mei thoda late hone ki wajah se is kaam mein thoda delay ho gaya.

Project Manager, UPRNN, Manindra Srivastava ne kaha, “ASI ne humse kaha ki NOC le lein q ki pool kea as paas ki land unke under mein aati hai aur isliye hi kaam mein seven months ka delay hua.”

“Renovation ke under Beginners pool ko tin shade se covered kiya gaya hai jisme several exhaust fans bhi install kiye gaye hai taaki proper ventilation ho sakein. Iske saath hi modern washrooms aur changing rooms bhi built kiye gaye hai pool campus ke andar, unhone kaha.”

Iske pahle ye sab facilities missing thi, pool ko manually saaf kiya jaata tha but ab ise filter machines ki help se clean kiya jayega,” unhone add krte huye kaha.
