2014 USA Swimming Foundation Fantasy Camps Headlined by 8 Olympians and Olympic Coaches

Participants at the USA Swimming Foundation’s Fantasy Camps for Adult & Youth will spend a weekend on the campus of the iconic U.S. Olympic Training Center, where they’ll have the opportunity to live, eat and train like a National Team Athlete. While on campus, participants will train in the world-renowned Olympic Training Complex Aquatic Center—a state-of-the-art facility containing a 50m by 25m pool that is equipped with every conceivable training aid. The Aquatic Center is arguably the finest training facility in the world, and has been the training site for nearly every U.S. Olympic swimmer. Both camps are led by the top coaches in the world, Bruce Gemmell for the Adult Camp and David Marsh and Todd Schmitz for the Youth Camp, and feature special guest Olympic gold medalists Nathan Adrian, Anthony Ervin, Rowdy Gaines and Mel Stewart.

Fantasy Camp Youth: October 9-12, 2014 featuring coaches David Marsh and Todd Schmitz, current National Team athlete Anthony Ervin, and swimming icon Mel Stewart.

Fantasy Camp Adult: October 17-19, 2014 featuring coach Bruce Gemmel, current National Team athlete Nathan Adrian, and swimming icons Rowdy Gaines and Debbie Meyer.

Participants at the USA Swimming Foundation’s Fantasy Camps will spend a weekend on the campus of the iconic U.S. Olympic Training Center, where they’ll have the opportunity to live, eat and train like a National Team Athlete. While on campus, participants will:

· Train in the world-renowned Olympic Training Complex Aquatic Center—a state-of-the-art facility containing a 50m by 25m pool that is equipped with every conceivable training aid.

· Swim, eat and socialize with Fantasy Camp special guests and coaches.

· Receive individualized underwater filming and analysis and a DVD copy to take home.

· Hear from past and present Olympic swimming champions about what it’s really like to be behind the blocks at the Olympic Games.

· Participate in sessions on nutrition and stroke technique led by the experts at USA Swimming National Team staff and the USOC
