This Russian video teaser is fun, featuring Ryan Lochte, Nathan Adrian, Florent Manaudou, Vlad Morozov, James Magnussen, Egeny Korotyshkin and Michael Phelps.
Wait. What? Why is Phelps in the video?
It must be blind-hope he’ll attend and aggressive marketing. A World Championships with Phelps competing would boost TV-ratings and attendance.
Interestingly, the video was released March 25th of this year. I suppose Phelps attending Worlds was still in question, though chances were clearly slim at that time.
Phelps ended that idea at the Pro Swim Series in Mesa in April, stating definitely he will attend U.S. Nationals in San Antonio, Texas, August 6-10.
Also, as reported May 23nd, James Magnussen, featured in the video, is out of the 2015 World Championships due to shoulder surgery scheduled in early June.

The gay male audience is tiny compared with the general female audience; they’re targeting women if anything.

Brilliant Luigi! Gay people who enjoy competitive swimming are now going to tune in more because of a video of swimmers in suits. Maybe it just to enjoy the swimming!

Actually, while watching it, I thought it was a video on male models who happen to swim. I think the direction was all wrong.
