2016 Open Water Nationals: 10KM Highlight Video

Below, courtesy of USA Swimming, check out a highlight video of the women’s and men’s 10KM open water races at Open Water Nationals in Miromar Lakes, Florida. 

On the men’s side Andrew Gemmell of the United States escaped an initial disqualification to win in a time of 1 hour, 53 minutes and 53.79 seconds. Ferry Weertmann of the Netherlands was 2nd in 1:53:55.11 and Oussama Mellouli of Tunisia was 3rd in 1:53:55.56.

On the women’s side American Ashley Twichell emerged victorious finishing in 2:01:51.78, just ahead of Rachele Bruni of Italy who finished 2nd in 2:01:52.02. Brazil’s Ana Marcela Cunha was 3rd in 2:01:55.41.
