May I just say that the announcer on the Men’s 400 IM messed up multiple times? First he said Reece Witney (with an n) then he skipped over Tal Davis in lane 7
I’m at the meet and I’m so sorry to say that the announcer has been very disappointing. So many great races and not only is he mispronouncing names but he has shown zero enthusiasm during these amazing races. Oh well.
Thanks for the compilation. Great job.
My top 3
1. 15-year-old Alex Walsh 58.80 100 breast New 15/16 NAG record
2. 16-year-old Kibler/15-year-old Walker battle in the men’s 200 free with 2 great times. Kibler 0.06s off his NAG record and Walker insane time drop of 6.29s (pre-meet PB of 1.40.02)
3. 16-year-old Isabel Ivey 1.43.64 win in the 200 free a few minutes after winning the 100 fly
Hopefully the announcer of the pool will finally wake up for tonight’s finals.
Kibler 0.04s off his NAG record
Walker total time drop of 6.29s after prelims and final. He’s the men’s revelation of the meet.
Watching that 200 free in person was intense and much closer than the final time indicates. Drew had a great finish because as you can see on the video it was too close to see who won until you looked up at the board!
