The 2019 FINA Men’s Super Final in Belgrade has now finished, with Serbia defeating Croatia in the Gold medal match. As expected, Serbia and Croatia continued to lead stats across the board. Serbia finished the tournament, both as the champions, and with 88 total goals. Over 6 games, that comes out to an average of 14.6 golas per game. The Serbians also shot at the most impressive clip, landing a tournament-leading 47.1% of their shots. Serbia also managed to block and steal with frequency, while keeping fouls limited. Croatia continued to foul often in the final game, which in part helped Serbia defeat them 12-11.

Yusuke Inaba had another quality outing in his final game, adding 3 more goals to his total. He racked up 26 goals over his 6 games, averaging 4.3 goals per game. Alvaro Granados Ortega held on to his 2nd place position.

Timothy Putt was still 2-for-2 on shots after the 6th game. Alberto Barosso Macarro didn’t take a huge number of shots, but was 8-for-11 on the shots on the tournament. That made him the 2nd most efficient shooter of the tournament, and the most effiecient who took more than 10 shots.

Marko Bijac nearly overtook Katsuyuki Tanamura in total saves, falling just one denied goal short. Aleksic Dusan jumped up to 3rd in the leaderboards after a quality outing in game 6.

Gojko Pijetlovic didn’t compete in game 6, but his save percentage held on to come out on top. Marko Bijac’s save percentage slid back under 60%, but he still finished with a very impressive 58.1% after big performances in his last two games.
