  • Meet Results in Meet Mobile – KZNA Speedo Provincial Championships 2019

The 2019 KZNA Premier Provincial Championships kick-off this upcoming week, with South African swimmers vying for short course meters titles at Kings Park Swimming Pool.

Although big hitters to the tune of Chad Le Clos and Tatjana Schoenmaker are absent from the entry lists, there is still plenty of speed and power to go around, both across the veteran and younger sets.

29-year-old Doug Erasmus is ready to rumble in Duran, set to swim the 50m/100m free and the 50m/100m fly.

20-year-old national record holder and this year’s African Championships ‘Best Female Athlete Award’ winner Erin Gallagher is also slated to compete at Kings Park, entered in the 50m/100m free and 50m/100m fly, but with the 50m back also thrown in.

Rebecca Meder, just 17, is entered in a grueling schedule of 10 events over the course of the 7-day meet, while Trojan Swim Club’s Calvyn Justus is on the opposite end of the entry spectrum with just the 50m and 100m free on his agenda.
