The final 50 is where it all shook out in the end. Davis came home in 24.0, Mitchell moved up to challenge his teammate. Jake magaheys 500 honestly looked sloppy. His head was all over the place jamming breaths in turns, could be 4:10 if he cleaned it up

When he heads to college and gains a few pounds lifting his “stroke” is going to have to adjust to something that looks less 8&under bouncing everywhere.

Dear USA Swimming, if you’re listening, thank you for live streaming winter juniors… I think. I mean it’s kind of like torture watching the live feed because there’s no announcer???? I’m guessing it’s the same at the venue because I’ve been to many winter juniors where there was no announcing other than maybe the lane assignments and when there was a NAG no one even knew!?! A good announcer MAKES a meet SO much more exciting!!! Spend a few hundred bucks per coast so the swimmers can feel acknowledged and we fans can actually know what’s going on.

I agree. So lame. Even an amateur announcer would be better than none. And these kids and their families have sacrificed so much to get to this level. How much could it cost?
