RIP Bluegrass Mountain Conference! 🪕🗻🏊🏾♂️🥹
Thank you for including an Naia primer this year. I think this is the first time and it is appreciated.
Liberal Arts Conference is not an NAIA Conference
https://www.naia.org/conferences/index
But it does have some NAIA schools and the author points out which ones aren’t.
Fair enough, and nothing against the LAC, and I’m sure its a quality meet for those athletes. But it has many more DIII schools(4) than NAIA (2), and is not recognized as an NAIA Conference.
Good to get them recognition, tho!
Liberal Arts has also been included in the D3 preview. One of the reasons it’s of value here is that a number of those swimming in Liberal Arts will be in contention for invites to the Nationals.
Bethel (TN) is in MSC
Bethel (IN) is in and is hosting the KCAC meet
Pepperdine has moved to the MPSF this year.
Add Midway University and Shawnee State University to the mid South conference. Add the University of Pikeville to the AAC.
And remove Asbury from the AAC and Westmont is provisional D2 – no longer NAIA.
