As the 2024 World Championships become closer, it is time to start tracking which swimmers will be competing during the Olympic year. Swimmers will travel to Doha, where they will compete from February 10th-18th.
As end-of-year swim meets pass, other nations will announce their selection of swimmers to compete in Doha. The countries included within this list have won medals within the past five Worlds. We will keep updating this roster index as the announcements happen so you can stay current on who to look out for at the meet.
At the 2023 World Aquatics Championships, 191 countries competed out of a total 209 World Aquatics members. For the swimming competition, eighteen total nations won medals. The United States led the total medal count with 38 (7 gold, 20 silver, 11 bronze), while Australia had the most gold medals (13) with 25 total. They were followed by China with 16 total, and Great Britain 8.
