Two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American Cathy Teng has verbally committed to the application process at Princeton University.*

Teng hails from Santa Clara, California, where she is a member of the Santa Clara Swim Club‘s High Performance group and a senior at Archbishop Mitty High School. Teng is an AP Scholar with Distinction as well as a National Merit Commended Scholar. She won the 100 free and 200 free at the 2017 CIF-Central Coast Section Championships, going PBs of 49.43 and 1:46.31, respectively. She also anchored the Mitty 200 free and 400 free relays with 22.83 and 49.22. In club swimming, Teng competed at 2017 U.S. World Championship Trials in the 50/100/200 free, and was invited to USA Swimming’s National Select Camp.
Her top times would have placed her in the A finals of the 100/200 free, the B finals of the 500 free and 100/200 fly, and the C final of the 50 free, at last season’s Ivy League Women’s Championships.

Who would put a “ thumbs down” to this post? I don’t know this young lady but how can anybody not wish her the best with where she has chosen to attend? There is one soul out there that really needs to drink from the well of human kindness. And please drink long when/if you do!!
Absolutely. It is good to know there are many like us who will defend Love, Peace, Unity and Respect.
Answering my own question: Must be the same sad soul who gave me a thumbs down!! Still holding out hope that you will drink from that well of human kindness. Try it just once! Might be surprised at how it will change your outlook on yourself & your fellow man!!!
