2015 World Champions Adam Peaty, Siobhan-Marie O’Connor, Robbie Renwick, Fran Halsall and Chris Walker-Hebborn will join 7 teammates to represent Great Britain at the 2015 LEN European Short Course Championships in Netanya, Israel, Dec. 2-6. Despite the event falling during hard training season, it will be a great opportunity for the team to experience tough racing in preparation for the upcoming Olympic year.
Peaty, who is a three-time world champion and two-time world record holder, will lead the British team as he competes in his second European Short Course Championships. Halsall will enter the competition as the only GBR swimmer to currently hold an individual European record in the 100m freestyle (51.19).
This event will also be the senior international competition debut of two British Swimming juniors Luke Greenbank of Cockermouth swimming club and Georgia Coates of City of Leeds swimming club.

Maria luiza pessanha is a swimmer from Marina Barra Clube – Rio de Janeiro and she is coached by Rogerio Karfunkelstein and his father Fabio.
She also won the 100 butterfly a couple of minutes later with a record time of 1’02″41. She still has the 200 fly to come and is favorite to win breaking the oldest record of the brazilian swimming which was clocked in 1986
