NCAA Division I Meets To Watch For October 30th-November 2nd

This weeks slate of meets features several interesting matchups.

One meet to watch will be FGCU-South Carolina. FGCU will make the trip up the coast looking to knock off the Gamecocks in what could be a sneaky-exciting meet. On paper, the meet works out to be closet to a tie. If South Carolina swims as well as they did against Kentucky, they should win the meet, but if South Carolina swims like they did against Georgia Tech and Notre Dame, they will be in trouble.

There are two other triangle meets to keep an eye on.

Alabama, Auburn, and LSU will square off in Tuscaloosa on Halloween, which will provide a treat for swim fans. Alabama is a program that has been on an upswing, and will look to continue their strong start to the season against their in-state rival Auburn and against the Tigers.

The other triangle features Indiana and Kentucky paying a visit to Tennessee. Indiana is coming off of some fast swims at the quad meet at Michigan last weekend, and it will be interesting to see how they swim in back to back weekends against tough competition.

Below, we’ve picked out all of the NCAA Division I meets that we could find. There’s a lot of teams, so we’re sure we’ve missed a few. Leave them in the comments, and we’ll add them to our list.

Cal vs Texas!!!!!
the two will battle it out!
but will Eddie Reese send his best swimmers?
Clay Youngquist hasn’t races since he went 1:35.0 and 48.8, haven’t seen any Sam Lewis or Austin Vacek either.

Except for a little known team from Texas dueling it out against another little team from CALifornia.

Nope that privilege’s exclusively reserved for the Card vs Longhorns meet.

No prizes for guessing the lopsided outcome of that dual tomorrow!

It’s also the most important event of the week as donations will be given to the Susan Komen Foundation so you should all come out to support a good cause.

Pink Out! Go Stanford!
