Richard Keller, who swims for Coach Tim Conley at Upper Palmetto YMCA Stingrays, has made a verbal commitment to the Towson Tigers for 2015-16.
“I committed to Towson because the determination and drive of the swim team was exactly what I was looking for. The coaches and team members were very friendly and I felt like a part of the Towson family.”
Keller is a senior at Olympic High School, with whom he swam the 100 fly at the 2014 North Carolina 4A State Championships. Keller’s top times include:
SCY | LCM | |
100 Fly | 53.04 | 59.54 |
200 Fly | 1:55.89 | 2:13.22 |
400 IM | 4:13.09 | 4:45.46 |
200 IM | 1:59.70 | 2:16.85 |
100 Back | 54.03 | 1:04.25 |
200Back | 1:56.54 | 2:18.48 |
The Colonial Athletic Association conference championships only swims two finals. As of now, Keller’s 100/200 fly are just outside of second-swim territory, but Towson has a strong group of young butterfliers from whom Keller will surely benefit.
Towson has had a phenomenal recruiting season so far, and Keller will be part of a class that already includes commits:
I am very proud of my Grand Son and the job his parents have taken in raising him. To God be the Glory.
Amen:>)))
