JOB DESCRIPTION
Tiger Aquatics seeks a full time head Age Group swimming coach. The job entails coordinating the head coach and running a successful Age Group program for a growing club in the fastest LSC in the country.
SALARY RANGE
This is a full-time position and pay will be commensurate with experience.
Additional Compensation Details: This position will remain open until filled. A start date of January/February of 2015 is desired. A voluntary coaching position with the D-I University of the Pacific men’s & women’s swim teams may also be available to the candidate.

ABOUT TIGER AQUATICS
Tiger Aquatics was formed by legendary coach Bill Rose in 1975 as Pacific Aquatic Club. Over the years Tiger swimmers have gone on to swim at every level including the Olympic Games. Former Tiger swimmer Brad Schumacher won two gold medals in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Shannon Catalano won gold at the World University Games in South Korea in 2003. The program has also sent swimmers all over the country to college where they have enjoyed successful academic and athletic careers—including many NCAA All-Americans. Tiger Aquatics is dedicated to continuing the tradition of forging champions in and out of the water.
We seek to build upon this rich history and provide an innovative swimming program that fosters the development of quality athletes— again, in and out of the pool. The Tiger Aquatics experience seeks to shape and strengthen character throughout one’s lifetime. Our coaching staff is dedicated to our athlete’s day-to-day successes, while aiming to achieve maximum development of their potential in the future. Currently, I am employed in pharmaceutical sales. However, having been a head age group coach years back, I think I could balance both. I was young when I a head age group coach. On that note, I feel I would be a better coach now. I’m familiar with how to train future senior swimmers, as well as provide the motivation and fun that needs to be coached as well. I’ve had experience traveling to swim meets where the swimmers create housing relationships with other teams, as well as hosting. I’ve coached at the high school level as assistant and head coach. I’m definitely interested in an interview for the position to learn more.
I have worked as the Head Age Group coach for Tiger Aquatics during the years 1992-1996.
I have coached at the high school level with both Bear Creek High and Tokay High in Lodi, Ca.
I grew up swimming competitively in Stockton, and am interested in coaching again.
