No change at the top: Emory women, Kenyon men lead Dec. 10 CSCAA rankings

The College Swimming Coaches Association of America has released its latest NCAA Division III dual meet polls, where the top contenders have stayed remarkably stable at the top.

The women of Emory still lead, while the Kenyon men also retain their #1 ranking.

The stability at the top goes even deeper than that, though. On the women’s side, the entire top 6 teams are unchanged from the November 19 poll. That group includes most of the national powerhouses, Emory, Kenyon, Denison, Johns Hopkins, Washington University and NYU.

Meanwhile in the men’s ranks, the top 3 of Kenyon, Denison and Emory have also remained stable.

The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Team Rankings are voted on by a committee of CSCAA member coaches.    The rankings will be released on a monthly basis throughout the 2014-15 season.

The CSCAA DIII Rankings Committee will produce in-season rankings of the 25 best performing NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving teams in rank order at the time of each poll.  The poll is not designed to predict the results of the NCAA Championship, but rather which teams would win head-to-head against other teams in the country. Ranking are based on performances that have taken place since the previous poll and include invites as well as dual meets.
