Pros Kennedy, Feigen, Weber Win First Ever WV 50 Competition

Clarksburg, West Virginia –  Age groupers and elite swimmers alike just wrapped up the first ever “Harry Green WV50” competition, a thrilling bracket-style sprint showdown held in West Virginia, but modeled after the successful Florida-based Jax50 events.

The event was held by Florida Swim Network in partnership with Planet Swim Foundation, a non-profit organization whose purpose is help provide drowning prevention education in communities with limited access to water safety resources and actual pools.  Funds raised at the meet will help the Foundation with these efforts.

Among the high-profile athletes attending the event were Madison Kennedy, Margo Geer, Roy Burch, Mark Weber, Lara Jackson, and Jimmy Feigen.

Final results were as follows, as provided by Florida Swim Network:

The Top Women:

1.  Madison Kennedy 21.93
2.  Margo Geer
3.  Hannah Riordan

The Top Men:

1. Jimmy Feigen (tie) 20.02
1. Mark Weber (tie) 20.02
3. Roy Burch 20.41
