Felicia Lee
Born in New York City and raised in Wayne, N.J., Felicia Lee was a talented athlete from a young age. Born May 19, 1992 to parents, Kin and Francesca, Lee is the middle of three children. By age 13 she moved to Maryland to train at North Baltimore Aquatic Club with Coach Bob Bowman, the same club that produced Olympians Michael Phelps and Allison Schmitt. While swimming NBAC she broke the National Age Group Record in the 13-14 girls 100 butterfly and followed that up a few years later by breaking the 17-18 girls 100 butterfly mark as well. Lee followed her age group swimming with a spectacular career at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif. Swimming World Magazine named her 100 butterfly NCAA win the NCAA Swim of 2014. She graduated from Stanford in 2014 with All-America honors, school records as well as a degree in Human Biology.

2010-2011 season
During her freshman year at Stanford University Lee placed fourth in the 200 back, third in the 200 IM, and seventh in the 100 fly to win the Pac-10 conference championship. She moved on to the the NCAA Championship, which she was a apart of two top-16 relays and All-American relay teams.

2011-2012 season
Lee both begun and finished her sophomore year on a high note, winning multiple early-season dual meets and finished as a four-time All-American. After setting a new school record in the 200 medley relay at the Pac-12 meet, she finished 12th in the 100 fly and 15th in the 100 back at the NCAA Championship.

2012-2013 season
In the 2013 season, Lee made a big statement on the NCAA level. With the best time of her career, she finished fourth in the 100 back and was on five Stanford relays that finished in the top seven. She helped to lead the Stanford Cardinal to its third Conference Championship in the last four years.

2013-2014
Lee went out with a bang during her senior season at Stanford finishing her career as a 19-time All-American. In her most impressive season as a Cardinal, Lee won the National title in the 100 fly, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay, 200 free relay, and 400 free relay. She was awarded the Honda Sports Award presented to “the best of the best in college athletics.”

International Competition
Lee qualified for multiple teams in her swimming career including the 2006-2007 USA Swimming Junior National Team, 2009 National Team, and recently qualified for the 2013-2014 National Team. As a part of the Junior National Team, Lee represented the U.S. in Maui, Hawaii at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships where she won gold in the 100m fbutterly. In 2011 Lee competed at the World University Games in Shanghai.

Lee has been recognized twice by Sports Illustrated where she was featured in the “Faces in the Crowd” segment and “Future Olympic Stars.”

2016 – Felicia Lee turns pro signing with Arena

Global water instinct brand arena signed a sponsorship deal with promising U.S. butterfly and freestyle swimmer Felicia Lee, March 9th, 2016.  The 23-year-old was ranked the top U.S. college female swimmer in the United States in 2014.

“I’m really stoked to be joining Team arena has we head towards an exciting year,” said Lee. “The arena staff has been tremendous not only in their support for me but also their belief in what I can do. From the arena employees, the team of athletes, to their gear…it’s all just the right fit. This is a team I want to be a part of and am proud to represent.”
