CSCAA NCAA Division II Women’s Poll: January 30th, 2015 Sees Drury Still on Top

The Drury women have been atop of the CSCAA NCAA Division II rankings for 14 months, and are now ensured that spot for at least one more after the latest edition of the polls.

The last time that Drury wasn’t the #1-ranked women’s team in the country was on the initial, November 15th poll, of the 2013-2014 season: a season that saw them roll through the Division II portion of their schedule untouched, and saw the women win the NCAA title at season’s end.

The top 5 of the current poll remains unchanged from the one released on December 22nd, with #6 Simon Fraser jumping up from #9 previously. Simon Fraser’s only meet since the last poll was against NCAA Division III University of Puget Sound, which the Clan dominated.

Below is the full rankings, courtesy of the CSCAA.

CSCAA NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Team Rankings Supported by TYR

The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Team Rankings are voted on by a committee of CSCAA member coaches and one member of the media.

The CSCAA DII Ranking Committee will produce in-season rankings of the 25 best performing NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving teams in rank order at the time of each poll.  The rankings are not designed to predict the results of the NCAA Championship, but rather which teams would win head-to-head against other teams in the country. Ranking are based on performances that have taken place since the previous poll and include invites as well as dual meets.
