Teresa Prinster
Background
At age 5, Teresa began swimming for a summer swim league in Boulder, Colorado. She stayed with the same team until she was 18 and in her final year she was awarded the league’s “Swimmer of the Year” award. When she’s not swimming, Teresa enjoys skiing and baking. She is currently a psychology and neuroscience major at John Carroll University.
High School
Teresa lettered all four years while swimming for Fairview High School. For excellence in the pool and in the classroom, she received Academic All-American honors. During her senior season, the Fairview Knights placed second in the Colorado State Championship meet.
College
2014-2015: Entering with a class of 13 freshmen, Teresa found her place on the John Carroll team as primarily a breaststroker. She also competed in sprint freestyle and backstroke. At her first Ohio Athletic Conference meet, she placed 12th in the 100-yard breaststroke and 10th in the 200-yard breaststroke.
