Cameron van der Burgh struggled after the Olympics, but has motivation back now – Video Feature

Cameron Van Der Burgh Twitter profile picture, picCameron Van Der Burgh, the 2012 Olympic Champion in 100m breaststroke, struggled after the Olympic Games with motivation, but feels he has it back now.  Van der Burgh used the Swim Cup Eindhoven 2015 as a tune up for the South African World Championship Trials.

P.S. The S. African English accent is a lot easier to understand than Australian, Irish, Scottish or even some British accents, or for that matter most southern US accents! 😉

GREAT interview! It’s not that often I get to see interviews of star swimmers from other countries with any depth (I’m in the US). I was especially interested to hear he skypes with the National Team Coach, who apparently was his former coach, and implements his workouts, supervised by other coaches remotely. Wow, maybe it’s the wave of the future for top coaches to use the internet to coach athletes who live far away!
