Sara Peace
Sara grew up swimming in Darlington Pennsylvania. In high school she saw success qualifying for the PIAI AA state championship meet in her junior and senior years. Sara committed to Westminster in 2012.
College
2012-2013
Sara saw varied success in her first season at Westminster. At the Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) championship meet she posted best times in both the 200 breast and I.M taking fourth and fourteenth respectively. She also swam the 100 breast and although falling just short of a best time she still managed a fourth place to finish out the season.
2013-2014
In her sophomore season Sara again saw success. Again she saw drops in two of her three events at the PAC posting personal record in the 200 breast and 400 I.M while falling just short of a best time in the 100 breast. She made top eight appearances in all of her individuals taking sixth in both of the breaststroke events and fifth in the 400 I.M. Sara was awarded second team All-Conference status for her efforts.
2014-2015
As a junior Sara finally achieved the long anticipated drop in her 100 breast. At the PAC championship meet she swam the 100 and 200 breast and the 400 I.M. earning a personal record in the 100 and taking fourth place in all three of the events. Sara was again selected for second team All-Conference.
Personal
Sara is a early Pre-K and Special Education major at Westminster and plans to be a teacher after graduation. She is also a member of Phi Mu sorority.
