At the conclusion of Ireland’s National Championships, the nation has announced all the athletes who qualified for the major meets this summer, headlined by a likely 4-person team for the World Championships.
Irish Swimming compiled a list of 28 athletes who hit qualifying times for various international meets, but did note that the officially-selected rosters would come out at a later date.
The 4 names penciled in for Worlds, though, are breaststrokers Sycerika McMahon, Fiona Doyle and Alex Murphy and open water swimmer Christopher Bryan.
That meet will be held in Kazan, Russia this July and August.
In addition, 4 have qualified for Junior Worlds, to take place in late August in Sinagpore. That crew includes Conor Ferguson, Antoinette Neamt, Rachel Bethel and Rory McEvoy.
The only roster that appears to be completely finalized is the crew for the European Games, happening next month in Azerbaijan. There are 13 names set to compete there, including McEvoy and Bethel.
The Irish press release also announced swimmers qualified for the World University Games in South Korea and the European Youth Olympic Festival, to happen in the nation of Georgia.
