The College Swim Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced their NCAA Division II Scholar All-America Teams this morning, along with Division I, Division III, NAIA, and NJCAA Scholar All-America Teams. As a whole, more than 600 teams representing 416 institutions earned team GPA’s over 3.00 for the spring semester.
The highest GPA of the NCAA Division II teams was Emmanuel’s (GA) women’s team. They led the division with an incredible 3.71 team GPA. The men were not far behind, however. The Catawba men’s program had the highest GPA on the men’s side with a a 3.68. This is the second semester in a row that the Catawba men have lead the nation with their team GPA. In the fall of 2014, they earned a team GPA of 3.67 which was the highest in the division by .23.
