Swim Job: William Jewell College seeks Assistant Swim Coach

The Assistant Men’s and Women’s Swim Coach will work under the supervision of the Head Men’s and Women’s Swim Coach, assisting with training sessions, coaching, evaluating talent and recruiting prospective student-athletes, and other duties associated with the men’s and women’s swim teams. This is a ten-month part-time position, running from August through May.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the conduct of in-season and out-of-season training sessions
On deck coaching responsibility for men and women swimmers
Evaluating talent and recruiting prospective student-athletes
Deomonstrated commitment to NCAA and conference rules and regulations
Participating in community service and fund raising activities
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations
Advanced computer skills
Working Conditions
Ability to work in varying temperatures
Ability to lift 25 pounds, operate mowing and field equipment
Evening and weekend work required, out-of-town travel required
Ten-month position to run August through May
