Franco, Blaum Win Final Race of FINA Open Water Grand Prix

NAPLES, ITALY–Alice Franco, Italy, and Damien Blaum, Argentina, were the top female and male finishers at the 2015 Capri-Napoli 36K, the last race of FINA’s 2015 Open Water Grand Prix.

Franco finished in 6:29.54 ahead of Pilar Geijo, Argentina, at 6:35.17. Blaum finished in 6:22.13, ahead of Evgenij Pop Acev, Macedonia, at 6:22.16. In total, 26 swimmers started the race (10 females, 16 males).
