X Winter Swimming World Championships Launch Contest to Create Mascot

Tyumen organizers launched a contest to create the mascot for the Winter Swimming World Championships, which will take place in Tyumen in March 2016.

“We decided to add a creative element to the creation of the symbol of the Championships, so that a lot of people are involved into its creation not just one person. The competition takes place not only in the Tyumen region, but also in Russia and around the world,”

– said the representative of the Organizing Committee of the Championship in Tyumen, Chairman of the Regional Federation of Health Training and Sports Winter Swimming Alexey Salmin.

As part of the application campaign of the Championships a competition is launched on the Internet called “Become the Author of the Winter Swimming World Championships Mascot”, according to which anyone can submit their version of the mascot of the Winter Swimming Championships, and the best one chosen by the Tyumen organizers of the Championships will become its mascot.
