Michigan’s Athletes Connected To Host Free Mental Health Webinar Wednesday

Thanks to Emily Brunemann for contributing to this report. Emily, a former All-American swimmer for the Michigan Wolverines and a U.S. National Teamer, has been heading up SwimSwam’s ongoing series on mental health among student-athletes.

The University of Michigan’s “Athletes Connected” program is hosting a free webinar focused on mental health in student-athletes.

Athletes Connected is a new educational program at the University of Michigan aimed at promoting mental health in student-athletes and wiping away the stigma of seeking help for mental health issues. You can read more about the program itself on the Athletes Connected page here.

Emily Bruneman, a U.S. National Teamer in the 10K Open Water, works with the program and passed along this description of the event:
