Through day 2 at the Terrier Invite at Boston University, the Army West Point women lead the team battle. On the men’s side, UMass holds a commanding lead. In one of the most impressive races thus far, Boston College’s Dan Kelly won the men’s 50 free with a 19.78. That broke his old pool record set at this meet in 2014.

Day 1-
BOSTON – Following the first day of competition at the 11th annual Terrier Invitational, the Boston University swimming and diving teams are ranked at the top of the nine-team meet. The women’s team sits in second place behind Army West Point while the men’s squad is ranked fourth.
Freshman Erin Nabney continued her unbeaten season as she won the 200 IM finals (2:02.75). She also competed with Isabella Olivares, Julimar Avila and Mika Spencer in both the 200 Freestyle Relay and 400 Medley Relay and finished in second place in both races.
The 200 IM was dominated by Terriers, as Spencer (2:03.82) and Avila (2:05.01) took second and third, respectively, in the event.
Mun Hon Lee had the best individual performance on the men’s side, finishing in second place in the 200 IM (1:49.41). Garrett Chin also won a place in the Championship Final in the event and took fifth overall (1:50.88).
BU found success In the 500 free Championship Finals on both the women’s and men’s sides as Stephanie Nasson (4:51.56) and Sarah Hargrave (4:54.42) took second and third, respectively, and Trevor Winans (4:35.34) finished in sixth for the men.
Day 2-
BOSTON – The Boston University swimming and diving team finished up day two of the Terrier Invitational on Saturday night. The women’s team maintained its second-place standing while the men’s squad is currently ranked fifth.
Mika Spencer led the women’s team with a second-place finish in the 200 free (1:50.97). Lauren Dixon (1:51.82) and Stephanie Nasson (1:54.45) also competed in the 200 free Championship Final and placed fifth and eighth, respectively.
Daniel Andronov had the best finish on the men’s side, taking second place in the 100 breaststroke Championship Final (55.17), which beat the previous pool record by .05 seconds.
Erin Nabney bounced back from a tough race in the preliminary round of the 100 breast to win the Consolation Final in personal record time, 1:04.17. Had she qualified for the Championship Final, her time would have placed second overall.
Danielle Yoon (4:26.62) and Garrett Chin (3:55.43) both took third in the Championship Final of the 400 individual medley while Julimar Avila (56.11) and Mun Hon Lee (49.59) each placed fourth in the Championship Final of the 100 butterfly.
