Rush-Henrietta (NY) Swim Coach Matt Greene On Leave After Arrest

According to a report from Time Warner Cable News in Rochester, NY, Rush-Henrietta teacher and swim coach Matt Greene has been placed on administrative leave after he was arrested on charges of child endangerment. The charges involve an alleged incident in a room directly adjacent to the changing room at the high school used by female students.

A concerned staff member at the school brought the matter to school official’s attention. At this time there are no specific details about what the adjacent room was used for.

Rush-Henrietta High school is located in Henrietta, New York, a southern suburb of Rochester. Greene also appears on the list of coaches at a local USA Swimming Club team, the Golden Comet Swim Club, also in Henrietta.

Swimswam reached out to Golden Comet Swim Club Head Coach Phil Baretela, who informed us that Greene had not been on deck for the team since the summer due to his high school commitments. He added that Greene had been suspended from all Golden Comets activities and that the team had contacted USA Swimming Safe Sport Director Susan Woessner as soon as they found out about the charges.

Based on what? Both this article and the source article provided no specifics or evidence other than his charges. They were simply statements about a series of events that unfolded. Certainly these events may be tragic or even horrific but nothing has been proven nor has evidence been submitted discussed.

They have him on tape red handed spying into the girls locker room. I go to the school and I’ve spoken to officials at the school about the incident.
