BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will begin 2016 at the Georgia Tech quad meet on Saturday at the McAuley Aquatic Center at 11 a.m. ET in Atlanta.
The Hoosiers will face the Georgia Tech, Duke and Big Ten rival Michigan. Live results and live video (payment required) can be found at IUHoosiers.com.
Scouting the Hoosiers
The Indiana Hoosiers head to Atlanta with both the men’s and women’s team ranked nationally in the CSCAA NCAA Division I Swimming & Diving Poll. The IU men are ranked 11th in the nation, while the Hoosier women are ranked 16th in the country.
Indiana will have just two more dual meets following Saturday before the Big Ten conference championships next month. The Hoosiers will host Purdue on January 23 before heading to Louisville to face the Cardinals on January 29.
Scouting the Opponents
Saturday’s quad meet will once again feature some of the top teams in the nation, continuing the difficult schedule the Hoosiers have had all season.
Michigan’s men’s team is ranked sixth in the CSCAA NCAA Division I Swimming & Diving Poll, while the women are ranked eighth. Duke’s men’s team is ranked 22nd in the country, while the Blue Devil women’s squad is receiving votes. Georgia Tech’s men’s team is also receiving votes.
