NCAA Releases Pre-Cut Psych Sheets For Women’s 2016 NCAA Championships

The NCAA has released the pre-selection psych sheets for the 2016 Women’s NCAA Championship meet. These sheets do not show who has qualified for the meet, but rather focus on the entries submitted for consideration by college coaches.

These lists provide fans with insight about which events the top swimmers will be swimming in Atlanta later this month. These lists will also help us to see where the cut-off lines will fall, which will be important for those teams hoping that a few more swimmers will be invited to this year’s championship meet.

The cut lines will be announced later this week, but last year they fell between lines 37 and 40. A full list of the cut-off times from the last three seasons can be found below:

In the coming hours, we will begin breaking down the psych sheets, seeing who has interesting entries, and scoring out the meet to see if we can draw any conclusions about where the NCAA Championship meet is heading.

It looks like data is telling me that Women’s Swimming is getting faster!

Can anyone link last year’s article that explained the process of figuring out where the cut lines in each event are? Trying to see if a swimmer is going to sneak in.
