With more than 1,000 participants from dozens of countries the International Swim Meeting (ISM) is every year the largest swim club’s meet in Germany. In recent years, top swimmers such as World champion Marco Koch, Olympic champion Britta Steffen and international stars like the Italian Olympic champion Federica Pellegrini, the British World Champion Adam Peaty started at the ISM.

Laszlo Cseh, the 2015 World Champion in the 200 m butterfly, set the fastest time in the world in the 100 m butterfly earlier this year at the EuroMeet in Luxembourg and he clocked 52,38 for the win today at the ISM – also one of the fastest times in 2016.

In 2015, the 30-year old swim star highlighted the competition with victories in six events and a new meet record in the 50 m butterfly. After two days of the 2016 edition of the ISM, Cseh won three events with three meet records: 400 IM in 4:20,74, 50 butterfly in 23,98 and 100 m butterfly in 52,38 minutes.

Jessica Fullalove (GB) clocked 1:00,34 in the 100 m backstroke – also a new ISM meet record and another swimmer from Great Britain set the new meet record in the 50 m breastroke women – Sarah Vasey finished in 31,17 seconds.
