“As a fan of the sport, it has always been a vision of mine to organize a meet that brings world-class athletes together to race; and more importantly, to be a part of a better cause to support the Drowning Prevention Foundation.  The community of Louisville is known for its tradition and support of high-level swimming. To bring a special event like this to our city and the University will have a lasting impact on our sport not only in Louisville, but nationwide,” said Arthur Albiero, Head Coach of Men’s and Women’s Swimming at UofL.  “We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone in Louisville and surrounding areas that want to experience and be a part of the first professional meet of this kind on U.S. soil.”
