NC State Women Earn Highest NCAA Finish Since 1982

With the 2016 NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships having concluded in thrilling fashion last night at the McAuley Aquatic Center, the NC State Wolfpack women earned their 2nd-highest finish in program history.

When all was said and done this weekend, the NC State women threw down 6 school records and earned 30 All-American honors en route to the school’s highest finish at the meet since 1982.

With the Wolfpack women’s 9th place finish, along with Virginia coming in 5th and Louisville claiming the 8th overall team spot, 2016 marked the first year that three ACC women’s teams finished in the top 10 at an NCAA Championships.
