The Canadian Olympic Trials start today at 10 a.m as the first set of Canadian hopefuls will take to the pool in hopes of securing a spot for finals later tonight.
Above and below are all the links you will need to follow along with the action.
The Trials will continue until Sunday the 10th where an idea of the Canadian Olympic team will emerge. This is arguably Canada’s best women’s team in years, having potential medal contenders in almost every stroke discipline.
The men’s side features plenty of emerging talent with a lot more spots up to grab for potential up-and-comers to squeak through on their way to an Olympic birth.
While this meet is focused on the Canadians, there’s plenty of international talent stemming from all over the globe. Top American competitors such as Elizabeth Beisel, Ryan Murphy, Tom Shields, and Connor Jaeger will be in attendance as well as many athletes from New Zealand also hoping to make their Olympic team.
