I’ve wondered the same about Missy. Not in Charlotte, at least so far. Not in Atlanta. I think that’s the better thing for her right now. Keep training in Colorado at high altitude. Please no more events and travels for the sponsors and the media. All for the summer now. She needs to focus entirely on her training.

+1. Seebohm in going 58.0 and at least 2.04.0, so I hope Todd and Missy can get her LCM mojo back.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Vollmer. I wasn’t sure she would be able to get under :58.

Shocked you didn’t think Vollmer would get back under 58! She has a very strong work ethic and I think being a Mom has helped her even more. I knew after her 2013 season that after she came back she would be even better, I hope she can challenge Sjostrom in Rio. Hoping for a 55 for Vollmer in Omaha… I think Missy is in a much better place with Todd, since he is the one who brought her to greatness. He knows her more than Teri and she is more mature and knows her body well enough now with all she’s been through, they will be ready for Rio. I believe Missy and Dana can do it!

Is Missy not doing a meet that weekend?? If so, good move for her to keep training for OTs.

The American federation must not be very happy with that meet in Atlanta the same weekend as their usual Charlotte Grand Prix.
Bad news for Charlotte fans too. No Ledecky. No Dressel. No Adrian. No Coughlin. And many others.
