Shi Jinglin was born on January 3rd, 1993 in Nanjiing, China.
2014 Asian Games
At the 2014 Asian Games, she smashed the Asian Games record in the 100M Breaststroke with a time of 1:06.67. She also claimed the bronze medal in the 200M breaststroke with a time of 2:23.58.
2015 FINA World Championships
In the 100m breaststroke, Shi swam a personal best time of 1:06.55 to finish 5th.
In the 200m breaststroke, Shi finished in an extraordinary three-way tie for the bronze medal with the time of 2:22.76 with Spain’s Jessica Vall Montero, and Denmark’s Rikka Moller Pedersen.
Along with teammates Fu Yuanhui, Li Ying, and Shen Duo, Shi won Gold in the 4×100 Medley relay
2016 Rio Olympics
China’s Shi Jinglin has qualified for the Rio Olympics with the Chinese national team to swim the 100m and 200m breaststroke.
Shi Jinglin won the bronze medal in the 200m breaststroke with a time of 2:22.28
2017 FINA World Championships
China’s Shi Jinglin won bronze in the 200m breaststroke on day six of World Championships in 2:21.93. She trailed Russia’s Yuliya Efimova who swam 2:19.64 for the gold, and Team USA’s Bethany Galat who won silver with a 2:21.77.

2018 Asian Games
Shi Jinglin won 2 medals in Jakarta, picking up a gold as a prelims swimmer of the 4×100 mixed medley relay and bronze individually in the 100 breast (1:07.36).
2018 Short Course World Championships
At her home games in Hangzhou, Jinglin helped China to a silver medal in the 4×100 medley relay, splitting 1:03.97 on breaststroke.
