On September 24th, Princeton Women’s Swimming and Diving team is hosting their 9th annual Collegians Find the Cure 5k run/walk for breast cancer.
To participate in this year’s event, participants are asked to either bring $10 in cash the day of the event or donate on the Collegians Find the Cure website. In the past 8 years, the team has raised over $19,000 total for Breast Cancer Research. This year’s goal is to raise $5000– all proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. As an added bonus, participants will receive a “Collegians Find the Cure 2016” T-shirt the day of the race, while supplies last.
Additionally, the team is creating an “Honor Wall”: a wall dedicated to those who have faced or are facing breast cancer. Anybody who has been or knows somebody who has faced breast cancer is invited to submit names to be listed on the wall, under the “In Honor of” section of the donation page or emailed to [email protected].
