Week Two results of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Swim Coaches’ Association (WISCA) poll for girls high school swimming are out. This week, Middleton and McFarland have maintained their place atop the rankings for the 2nd straight week in Divisions 1 and 2, respectively.

Notably, week one’s polls did not include Division 1 defending champions Arrowhead. This week, however, they’ve jumped up in a huge way. Coming in at #20 last week, they’ve hopped up 11 places to land at #9, right inside of the top 10. The top two in Division 1 remain in place, with Waukesha South-Mukwonago vaulting up to #3 after sitting at #6 last week. Additionally, the top 10 now includes two new teams: #5 Appleton North and #7 Madison West.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, Madison Edgewood and Baraboo have swapped places, with the former taking #2 and the latter taking #3. The big mover was Whitnall, jumping up 13 spots from last week to land at #4. The sole newcomer to the top 10 in this division is Rhinelander, which wasn’t listed at all last week.

The 2016 Wisconsin State Girls Swimming & Diving Championships run November 11th-12th at the University of Wisconsin.
