Sit Down with Bob Bowman (VIDEO)

Head Olympic and Arizona State Swim Coach Bob Bowman sat down with Ryan Curry from Cronkite Sports to talk about the plans for ASU swimming and Michael Phelps coaching. Video produced by and courtesy of Ryan Curry.

Bob Bowman‘s first year in Tempe, Arizona is in the books. Now that he’s into year 2, and his focus is off his duties as head Olympic men’s team coach and Michael Phelps‘ personal coach. The results weren’t huge in year 1, but the cache of Bowman has already worked into two great recruiting classes, as the Sun Devils showed off at their intrasquad meet where freshmen won 10 of 18 events.

Bowman sat down with Ryan Curry to discuss the state of the program and plans for the upcoming season.

He covered the swim team for the Walter Cronkite Sports Network, and this summer he traveled to the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro as a reporter for Cronkite News/ Arizona PBS. Many of the stories Ryan has produced have gone to different outlets such as the Arizona Republic and the Pac-12 Networks.
