The 5th Tel Aviv Port2Port Take Place Oct. 28th

The 5th Tel Aviv Corny Port2Port swim is due to take place on October 28th. The urban-coast scenic Port2Port swim, part of the Israeli Zoggs Aquatic League travels a course connecting the 3 ports and marinas along the Tel Aviv Mediterranean Coast.

The long course, a distance of 4.5 kms, takes the swimmers from the mouth of the ancient Jaffa Port, near the Rock of Andromeda, north along the Tel Aviv shoreline, until “Mezizim beach” adjacent to the old Tel Aviv Harbor (a major Tel Aviv dining, shopping and entertainment destination).

The short course, 1 nautical mile (1.8 kms) in length, begins just south of the Tel Aviv Marina and quickly connects with the long course in a north bound route, ending in “Mezizim beach”, adjacent to the Tel Aviv Harbor.

Among the expected 1000 participants are Rio Olympian swimmer and multiple European medalist, Gal Nevo, as well as Rio Olympian Keren Siebner.

The water temp. is a balmy 26 centigrade, and the sights are positively outstanding.

Beautiful swim. One way point to point. A world class event. Well worth it.
