Alexandra Caplan Earns Mountain West Diver Of The Week Award

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – San Diego State junior Alexandra Caplan has earned MW Women’s Diver of the Week honors for competition through November 13, 2016. It is the fifth MW weekly honor for Caplan.

The Mountain West Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships will be held February 15-18 at the Texas A&M Natatorium in College Station, Texas.

WOMEN’S DIVER OF THE WEEK

ALEXANDRA CAPLAN, SAN DIEGO STATE

Junior, Mission Viejo, California / Mission Viejo HS

  • Was the top Mountain West competitor in two of the three events at the USC Diving Invitational last week.
  • Placed third in the 3-meter springboard with an NCAA-qualifying mark of 309.65.
  • Took third in the 1-meter springboard with an NCAA-qualifying score of 276.15.
  • Finished sixth on the platform dive with an NCAA mark of 225.40.
