The title of this article is a bit much. Chadwick went 41.8 this weekend–41.6 isn’t “another level.”

Thats great for the next year WC 400 free relay for Team Usa if Dressel continues like that …..Chadwick and Held might well join him on that relay ….

I’m positive held will be on that relay considering he was in the Olympics

He’s such a fast twitch muscle firecracker it’s almost implausible to think he won’t be under 18.0 barrier this year or next.

Now the 17.99 and 39.99 by his senior year don’t seem THAT unrealistic if he keeps improving like this. I know it’s a lot to ask

His 44.8 > 41.6.

He’s about the only swimmer on the planet who can make a 41.6 seem relatively pedestrian.

He finished a body and a half ahead of everyone. It was insane.

41.6 is the best he has ever been in December and is his fourth fastest 100 free ever. I don’t think this is pedestrian in any which way.

It becomes pedestrian when he goes 41.7 in prelims, which he did at SECs and NCAAs last year.
