Fresno State Returns Home To Face Cal State East Bay

The Fresno State women’s swimming and diving team will host Cal State East Bay on Saturday Jan. 21in the Aquatics Center at 12 p.m. PT. This is the first home meet for the Bulldogs since Nov. 12.

The Bulldogs are 3-2 on the season and 2-2 at home. As for the Pioneers, they are 6-5 this season and 0-2 on the road.

This is the first meeting of the Bulldogs and the Pioneers this season. The last meeting between the two teams was on Jan. 10, 2015 when Fresno State defeated Cal State East Bay 137-101.

“We’ve had a great week of workouts,” said head coach Jeanne Fleck. “I’m excited to be swimming at home. I’m looking forward to seeing how our student-athletes compete because they are fighting for spots on our traveling team for the conference championships.”

Coach Fleck stressed that everyone on the team will need to do their part to pull out a win tomorrow, since the team is battling injuries.

Fresno State swim caps will be given to the first 100 fans. Entry to Fresno State swim meets is free of charge.
