Sarah Mantz Earns TD Bank Student-Athlete Of The Week

Swimming and diving senior Sarah Mantz, a business administration major, is our TD Bank Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending January 22.

In her last competitive action at Forbush Natatorium this weekend Mantz played a pivotal role in a 155-145 win over Rhode Island.

Mantz won three individual freestyle events on Saturday, sweeping the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyle events.

She also swam the opening leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay which the Catamounts won to close out their sixth win of the season.

The Catamounts will prepare now for the 2017 America East Championships, which take place from Thursday, Feb. 9 to Sunday, Feb. 12 at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Live video of the meet will be available at AmericaEast.TV.
