1:04.45 isn't enough time to tell about NBC's must see TV this summer and all the Aussie Age Group Records being broke down under. Or is it?

Now that I think about it I was living without TV in 2008. Great news regardless. I can’t wait to see swimming take center stage.
How about the coverage of prelims same day tape delay? That’s more coverage from NBC then we get from the Grand Prix meets (which is live but often without commentary). One wonders how Rowdy and the others will keep it interesting for the general public…..hope it isn’t over-coverage.
Agree wholeheartedly on Mel’s take…
NDB, we got the same coverage in ’08. I’m almost certain of it…. USAs deserves credit on this one. They’ve work closely with NBC over many years. Unger, assistant executive dir at USAs, is the point man. Unger’s essentially swimming’s COO, very well liked by swimmers and coaches. His mind’s a 20 TB HD. He can list off your split-times from obscure meets 15 years ago. (That’s another topic, “smartest guys in swimming.” I say, Braden, Unger, Franklin. Their base of knowledge is incredibly vast.)
Did Garret really just say that Olympic Trials finals will be televised LIVE each night on NBC? That is a huge step forward for swimming. The negotiators for that deal should be congratulated. Great reporting!
-3.87…. Almost Garrett… Great report!
