At the conclusion on the historic meet, host and cameraman Rick Ono gets to interview high school superstar Reece Whitley (tune in at 13:07 to see the interview) where fans get the chance to learn a few fun facts about the National High School Record holder in the 100 yard breaststroke.
This is a great video! Great job, Andover!
U rarely see Reece not smiling – this guy is awesome , one of the best future Us swimmers across the board – and having fun . I can only love this kind of attitude .
So cool to get to learn about another side of an elite swimmer. Makes us realize that Reece is in fact a high school kid. Keep up the good work, Phillips Academy
Genuine. Approachable. Always smiling. I will let the new breaststroke rules slide for this young man. If he never gets any better, he is still a credit to the sport of swimming!
Is Whitley 6’8″?
Yes , he is huge – like Peter Timmers or Matt Grevers .
amazing
