68 Divers To Inauguarte FINA/NVC Diving World Series 2017 Beijing

The Chinese capital is getting ready to host the inaugural leg of the 2017 edition of the FINA/NVC Diving World Series, on Friday March 3-5.

68 of the world’s best divers, 31 men and 37 men from Australia, Canada, China, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, People’s Republic of Korea, Russia, Ukraine and the U.S., will be competing in this top-notch event (Start Lists).

For this first leg, Beijing landed a groundbreaking Sponsorship Agreement with vehicles manufacturer giant BMW Brilliant Automotive Ltd. The deal will apply for a period of two years – for the 2017 and 2018 editions.

BMW becomes the Official Presenting Sponsor of the FINA/NVC Diving World Series – Beijing and will provide cars to the Organising Committee. New BMW X1 xDrive 25Le iPerformance will be displayed on podium at the event.

There are 10 events on the programme and the schedule unfolds as follows:

All finals in Beijing will be live streamed on FINATv.

Last year’s edition was led by diving powerhouse China, who topped the ranking of the men’s 3 and 10m as well as the women’s 3m. Canada with Roseline Filion was the best in the women’s 10m. China also clinched the best results in all the synchronised and mixed events to the exception of the men’s 3m synchro won by Ukraine.
