Andrew 52.34 in the 100 free C-Final (27.91 to come home)
53.95 in the 100 fly A-Final
He looks very tired right now. Has he changed his training recently and added more yards to his URGBSPTLKM method with eyes on the 200 IM in the future?

Not sure if you’re interested? But…Michael Andrew shares a lot about his training on instahram and youtube. Sometimes he’s even swimming.

Performance of the day by far for young Chinese Li Zhuhao. 51.34 in March! That’s fast. Looks like he has prepared that meet like world championships! 🙂 Maybe it was his first time in USA so he wanted to make a statement.

No surprise to see Miss Comerford under 54. She’s on fire and takes advantage of the period of rest in that college championship season. But on the other hand the transition from SCY to LCM is never easy while you swim so often in short course since last fall. I think that fully tapered she must be around 53.50 next summer and will be an important addition to the US relay.

Only 2 Americans in the men’s 100… Read more »

Like Zhuhao deserves a tad more appreciation for that swim… 51.3… The level of talent to do that in March!

Adrian looking tasty, most of the Brits looking tired as expected 8wks out from National trials, Comerford + Manuel, Weitzeil & Ledecky looks a tasty 4×100.

Is that your relay order? I would go Comerford + Weitzel + Ledecky + Manuel.

Dee
Reply to  E Gamble

No, was just a random order. I’d always lead-out Simone & anchor Ledecky. Weitzeil is a dream leg-3… That heart & fight in the engine room wins races while legs 1 & 4 get the plaudits haha… So Comerford would have to drop in 3, if she beat Neal/Franklin et al… US relay looking stronger than it has for a long time though!

Carlin looks so heavy in the water – She never looks like a stylish swimmer, but her stroke is really laboured right now… Nice 100fl/400fr back to back for Flickinger.

Cam Mcevoy just did a 48.13 overtaking Nathan as top time this year.
